SuperfastSAT (“SuperfastSAT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a free SAT-preparation platform operated by Argonaut Education, Inc., a Delaware C corporation. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use SuperfastSAT at superfastsat.io, how we use it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name and email address. If you create a password account, we store a securely hashed password (never the plaintext). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account — nothing else.
- Study activity.As you use the platform, we record your practice and progress — for example, vocabulary you've reviewed, questions you've attempted, and study-session activity — so we can save your progress and improve the product.
- Technical data. Like most websites, we automatically collect basic log and device information (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps) and use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to operate the service.
How we use your information
- To create and maintain your account and keep you signed in.
- To save your study progress and provide the platform's features.
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the service.
- To communicate with you about your account or important changes.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Google sign-in
If you choose “Continue with Google,” we use Google's OAuth to authenticate you. We request only your basic profile (name, email, and profile picture) to create your account. We do not access your Gmail, Drive, contacts, or any other Google data. Your use of Google sign-in is also subject to Google's own privacy policy.
How we share information
We share information only with service providers who help us run the platform, including:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
- Vercel — application hosting and delivery.
- Google — sign-in, when you choose it.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the service.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to delete your data, we will remove your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it by law.
Security
We use industry-standard measures — including encryption in transit and hashed passwords — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data and to address vulnerabilities promptly.
Children and students
SuperfastSAT is intended for high-school students preparing for the SAT. You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. If you are under 18, you may use SuperfastSAT only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights and choices
You can access or update your account information from within the app, and you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. You may also stop using the service and request that we close your account at any time.
International users
We operate from, and process data using providers located in, the United States and other countries. By using SuperfastSAT, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data-protection laws than your own.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes will be communicated through the service. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
